Library at the Shopping with Friends Brunch

Library at the Shopping with Friends Brunch above Cara Valentine & Lauren Lail

Shopping with Friends is an amazing event that benefits the Lowcountry AIDS Services.  Along with all of the other fun happenings that go on that day, this year there was the addition of the Vintage Village at the Saturday morning brunch.   Library, along with four other vintage puryevors in the area set up booths to sell our wares.  The event was a huge success and we were so happy to take part in helping this great organization and such a wonderful day.   Read more about Shopping with Friends on Ida Becker’s Blog…www.charelstonmag.com/partyscene

Oh, what a night!!!  The Novel. Opening Party was more than we could have ever asked for!  Thank you to everyone who came out to support Library, Balboa, Jane Pope Jewelry, Margo Kaufman Gallery, Kirsten Moran & Daniel McSweeney!!!  The crowd was insane and the atmosphere was “very Soho,” - this is a quote I got from not one, not two, but three peeps at the party!  The dj Taylor Massey was amazing and so was the food from Made from Scratch by Elizabeth Allen.  We hope you come and check us out for all of the happenings we have going for the rest of the month.  The next event is the Black Friday Market, the Friday & Saturday following Thanksgiving and then Way Way Allen will be showing her work on December 3rd, check her out at www.bluechickeadee.com

Library, Jane Pope Jewelry & Balboa Jewelry TRUNK SHOW

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

LL - JPC Dec Trunk Show Medium

I am so excited about the upcoming trunk show at the Library Studio (105-B Rutledge Avenue, CHS- corner of Rutledge & Bull)!!!  Jane Pope Cooper, Jane Pope Jewelry www.janepopejewelry.com & Balboa Jewelry Designer www.balboajewelry.com and one of my very best friends and favorite people in the world, will be visiting from New York to bring us her new styles she has been creating!  Her jewelry is amazing and so complimentary to all of the Library duds!  Along with Jane’s new styles and my vintage merchandise, we will be featuring yummy bites by Elizabeth Allen.  If her food is anything like what she provided for last year’s show (think homeade cheese crackers and some sort of amazing marinated shrimp) then you guys are really in for a treat!  Also, since we know you are just starting to think about Holiday Shopping, we will have a special gift wrap station!  The show begins at 5pm…put it on your calendar…we’d love to have you there!
